Whether it’s a simple network connection issue or a desire to customize your own PC, BRITEE can help.

BRITEE was established to build and support PC based networks and other PC applications. The first computer based networks were Novell Netware Networks. Windows and computer viruses and spyware were unheard of. Never the less, word processors, spreadsheets and office management applications kept BRITEE busy. As Windows became more familiar the business moved from Novell Network support to Windows network support.

The first networks built and supported by BRITEE were wired networks using either Arcnet (co-axial) or Token Ring (Unshield Twisted Pair – UTP ) protocols. As networking evolved, the network protocol changed to Ethernet which used UTP cabling.

Networks now are built using a combination of data transmission methods. While the bulk of business network infrastructure is composed of Cat 5 and Cat 6 UTP Ethernet cabling, optical fiber is also used as a physical transmission medium. However wireless networks or Wi-Fi are now used in many business and home networking applications.

PC Applications and now Wi-Net have worked with all these networking techniques and are able to design, install and support the network that is right for you and your business.

The lead technical staff at Wi-Net is composed of Charlie Brown and Dave Gleason. With over 40 years in the computer business, Charlie’s approach to network design and support is based on a wide variety of pertinent business experiences. With over 20 years in the computer business, Dave is very familiar with basic network principles and how they are used to build both Peer-to-Peer and Server-based Windows networks.

Recent projects that Charlie and Dave have handled include bank networking and networking security support, Wi-Fi network simulation and design, network design and support over Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

While they both have wide experience bases, there are times when specialized expertise is needed for portions of projects. Over the years, they have built networks of associates with these specialized skills that they can draw on. So whether your network requirements are simple or complex, Charlie and Dave and their associates can deliver exactly the right network design and equipment for you and you network.

Wi-Net is focused on providing superior customer service, products, installation and support for wired and wireless networks. Wi-Net is a business division of PC Application Consultants based in Stewartville, MN.
